You can apply for this program if you are:
- A graduate of basic education / someone who has discontinued basic education
- Someone who has discontinued upper secondary education / is currently without a study place
- Under 18 years of age
Studying at a folk high school offers an opportunity for becoming independent and developing social skills. The boarding school environment supports holistic growth and finding motivation.
The education supports learning readiness, life planning, and work-life skills, and helps identify learning challenges. Studies can also be started mid-term, allowing for a flexible transition into the program.
The education includes two entrepreneurship-focused workshop days per week. The emphasis is on experimental and practical introduction to entrepreneurship.

The education includes two expressive arts workshop days per week in the fields of theater, dance, visual arts, music, and game art. The course includes:
- Group dynamics and finding your own expression
- Basics of acting
- Music
- Advanced mixed media in visual arts
- Games as a medium of expression
- Multimedia movement improvisation
The education includes two social and health care-focused workshop days per week. The studies provide basic knowledge and skills for supporting human health, well-being, and functional capacity. The track’s core themes are:
- Interaction and customer service skills
- Human growth, development, and life cycle
- Hygiene and safety
- Work-life skills and professional ethical principles
